This horizontal metal band saw with a swiveling arm allows cuts perpendicular to the axis of the material and at any angle within a range from 0° to 60°. The material can be fed manually or using any mechanical device, while the tool feed is automatic. The blade guides are fitted with special carbide plates and bearings, which have a significant impact on blade guidance, durability, straightness, accuracy, and cutting quality. Carbide guidance dramatically reduces the machine and blade wear. The machine is equipped with an efficient coolant pump with a closed-circuit cooling system.

The saw arm is made from a single cast iron piece. Paired with the 27 mm wide cutting blade, this enables efficient batch cutting of both profiles and solid materials. The vice is located on an adjustable bed and equipped with a quick-release clamp. The blade guides feature hard metal (carbide) inserts and roller bearing systems. CARBIDE BLADE GUIDES are responsible for cutting precision and straightness.

The arm is equipped with an automatic blade tension sensor and is tilted at 25°, which increases blade life. A cleaning brush is mounted under the arm for blade cleanliness and function. The machine is driven via a worm gear transmission.

A cast-iron worktable with a swiveling arm and a control panel on a separate arm is attached to the base. The main cutting movement is the blade advance, and the arm descent provides the feed. The descent speed (cutting speed) is regulated by a hydraulic cylinder.

The feed speed is adjusted on the control panel. Two blade speeds are available: 37.5 and 75 m/min. When the arm reaches its lowest position (after cutting through the material), the blade drive shuts off automatically. Safety is ensured by blade covers and micro-switches that stop the motor after the cutting cycle or when any cover is opened. Additional safety includes automatic cut-off in case the blade breaks.

The machine is powered by a motor with a worm gear unit.

The motor has a thermal fuse to protect against overheating during operation.
