Used twin-shaft mixer with screw discharge, manufactured by BCH (misktruder). Constructed from acid-resistant stainless steel (grade 304). The mixing chamber features a heating/cooling jacket made of stainless steel. Internal dimensions of the mixing chamber: L 720 mm x W 780 mm x H 700 mm. Working volume approx. 100 l, total volume 250 l. The chamber is designed for operation under pressure up to 100 mbar (90% vacuum) and temperatures up to 150°C. The outer jacket is made of 304 stainless steel and rated for operation at pressures up to 6.8 bar and temperatures up to 170°C. The mixer is equipped with two 'sigma' type agitators made of stainless steel (304), each driven by a 4 kW electric motor via gearbox. Discharge is effected by a screw conveyor mounted at the bottom of the chamber. The screw is also constructed from 304 stainless steel and driven by a 4 kW electric motor and gearbox. The top lid is pneumatically operated. The mixer is equipped with a control panel.
