Storti GSI 170-270 TA9

The Storti GSI 170-270 TA9 is a high-performance, industrial-grade tandem (two-machine) nailing line manufactured by Storti S.p.A. (Italy).
The complex is engineered for continuous, heavy-duty production of standard Euro-pallets (EPAL / EUR) as well as customised industrial pallets. The tandem configuration separates the nailing of the bottom elements (skids/blocks/legs) and the top deck, ensuring maximum output, perfect geometric tolerances, and high structural durability.
The entire complex has a total weight of approx. 20,000 kg and consists of the following original modular units:

1. Nailing Machine Storti GSI 170 TA9 (Weight: 4,500 kg)
Function: Assembly and nailing of the bottom part of the pallet (blocks/skids/legs).
2. Nailing Machine Storti GSI 270 TA9 (Weight: 4,000 kg)
Function: Final high-pressure nailing of the top deck boards.
3. Automatic Block & Board Feeder Storti GSP 170 (Weight: 1,150 kg)
Function: Automated material positioning into the nailing matrix.
4. Chamfering & Corner Cutting Unit Storti GSM 3/6 (Weight: 3,000 kg)
Function: High-precision corner cutting and bottom board chamfering compliant with EPAL standards.
5. Pallet Rotator / Turnover Device Storti GA 90/180 (Weight: 1,000 kg)
Function: Flipping and 90°/180° rotation of the pallet between processing cycles.
6. Automatic Hydraulic Stacker Storti AGS/237 (Weight: 1,860 kg)
Function: Heavy-duty stacking of finished pallets into neat bundles.
7. Outfeed Chain Conveyor Storti C/5 (Weight: 1,000 kg)
Function: Buffering and transport of completed pallet stacks for forklift removal.

8. Branding & Marking Unit Storti DAT 2008 (Weight: 1,100 kg + 600 kg)
Function: High-temperature branding for phytosanitary (ISPM 15) and EPAL stamps.
9. Centralised Control System
Composition: Main electrical cabinet and HMI operator panel Q1 + three local auxiliary operator control desks (Q2, Q3, Q4).
10. Integrated Safety System
Composition: Full set of original perimeter mesh fencing, safety light curtains, and heavy-duty industrial cable trays.
